The Connecticut real estate market looks excitingly inviting for realty investors to look at due to its growing prospects and its resilience against the downward market trends.

What does SEV stand for?
So I was applying online for a home loan and it asked this question…
“What do you estimate the annual real estate taxes will be for the property you are looking for?”
So I went to a property tax estimator online…
and it asked me to enter…
“1. For future owners, enter the SEV. To estimate property taxes paid by the current owner, enter the taxable value:”
What is SEV?1
SEV = state equalized value. Here in Michigan it’s 1/2 the current estimated market value of the house.
