Do you people realize that when you speak?
of how unemployment has gone DOWN since Bush has been in office……we are in Florida. Unemployment is down and the average rate of pay is $8.00 an hour with the average apartment rental for a 2 bedroom at $1,200.00. My father in law made $8.00 an hour when he retired 20 years ago and his mortgage was $125.00. Why do you think this is good? This isn’t good. More people are living without things and are stressing just to survive right now. Unemployment down – BFD. Ya know, when you have kids and you have to work 2-3 jobs just to survive, your kids are totally deprived of the love and attention they need from their parents. I get sick of seeing those words “unemployment is down” – what we should be reading is “income has increased so people can have peace in their lives and not have a nervous breakdown trying to worry about how they are going to repair their car or feed their kids although they work their a***es off.”

and do YOU realize, that when a statistic involving “unemployment” is quoted, it is in reference to “unemployment benefits being collected”
not in reference to how many people do not have a job?
so if your benefits run out, you are no longer collecting unemployment, so they no longer consider you as “unemployed” statistically.
so even if “unemployment is down”
it tries to give the illusion that people are working,
but also includes people whose benefits have run out. This means they have NO income, not from work, but also no income from unemployment.
